Reason Why Blog Should Be Reviewed: No specific reason actually. I need to have someone review from a user point of view: What should be added and what to be removed, the colors and advertisement placement, etc. As it is not an old blog yet, things should be changed now rather than later.

Site Review

Theme:

The theme used is a commonly used one by webmasters. However, most webmasters will edit the colors to make the theme stand out from the crowd. On this blog, the main color is gray. Yuck. All of the gray will definitely turn off readers. A change of colors would be incredibly helpful. The logo is simple; probably should include an image in it. Too many posts show up on the front page, and all of them have the <more> tag in them. Decrease the number of posts showing on the front page to 4-6, and show the full post. The widgets in the sidebar are helpful.

Content:

The content overall is typical of a SEO/Webmaster blog. I reviewed the following article: “Basic steps to follow when opening a new wordpress blog.” :

The article includes many helpful links to outside sources, which is a great help to the readers. The post is broken into different sections by bold headings, a good thing to do.

The site has O.K. content, but it is bogged down by it’s drab design. An color update would be nice.
